Your staff are trained to keep camp safe and fun.  You’re in great hands at CGI! We will be adhering to the guidelines established by the CDC and State of Michigan Health Department. Below are a few of the safety precautions being taken. Please read the full COVID-19 Supplement Guide for more details:

  1. Come to Camp healthy.  If you are not feeling well, stay home.
  2. Campers exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 or was in close contact with someone who tested positive must either wait 72 hours without any symptoms or receive a negative COVID PCR test to be allowed to come into camp.
  3. Covid vaccination is highly recommended but not is not required to attend camp.
  4. Masks will not be required
  5. Share less, disinfect when you need to. We will be encouraging continuous hand-washing and sanitizing, and there will be increased cleaning and disinfection of facilities, equipment and supplies
  6. No parents or visitors will be allowed during camp hours. Any outside vendor will be met at the entrance and have their health screened before being allowed entry.
  7. We will be traveling with a clean school bus that is sanitized daily to a local private pool a few times a week, and also an outdoor trip twice each week. We will arrange for siblings to be sitting next to each other.

  • Keep your child home if they are showing any signs or symptoms of illness. Similarly, if any other members of your family have a fever or are sick, we request that you keep your child home.
  • Any child with a temperature of 100.4 or above will be sent home. Temperature screenings will be conducted via an infrared touchless thermometer.
  • Children must be symptom free (without the aid of a fever reducing medication) for 72 hours before returning to camp.
  •  If your child has an excessive and unusual runny nose, cough or sneeze, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, loss of taste or smell, or any other symptoms typical of COVID-19, we will ask that you pick up your child and keep him/her home for 72 hours. In some cases, a note from your child’s doctor will be required for your child to return to camp.

Any camp COVID-19 related closure, or confirmed COVID-19 related absence, that exceeds 2 consecutive days will be completely refunded on a pro-rated basis.

Until June if you choose to cancel your reservations, you will be refunded all tuition paid (minus 6% credit card processing fee) besides the $100 non-refundable deposit (which can be used as a credit for another camp in the future).

After June 1st if you choose to cancel your reservations, there will not be any refunds (but you can use it as a credit for another camp in the future).

There is no refund for daily absences.
